Winter Warmers: Releases New and Old Are Coming To Boundary Bay
While it’s not technically Winter yet, Bellingham has skipped the normal gradual cooling of fall and gone straight to freezing temperatures and frosted lawns. It’s encouraged us to turn on our fireplaces much sooner than expected, and with it, the desire to be bundled up with drinks that embody the cozy season.

Ale of 2 Kings is a collaboration between the only two Washington-state Alpha King Challenge winners - Boundary Bay Brewing Co. (winner in 2006) and Burke-Gilman Brewing Co. (winner in 2020).

She works predominantly with gouache on wood panels, using non-toxic epoxy resin and gold leaf.

“The really cool thing about the haunted house event is that all of the proceeds go directly to BAAY’s scholarship fund, which allows us to remove financial barriers for families who wouldn’t be able to participate otherwise. Fundraising events like this make it possible to give out around $30,000 annually in tuition waivers.”

Fair and Livable Wages: Why Initiative #4 is Unsustainable for Local Business and Calls for Finding a Middle Ground Solution.
We appreciate the sentiment and intention of Initiative 4, and feel strongly that all citizens need a more systematic approach to general livability in Bellingham. However, we stand in opposition alongside our Regional Chamber of Commerce and the other small locally owned businesses who have valid concerns regarding the implementation of this initiative.
